Carvers in their 1st and 2nd year only.
2009 Best of Beginner- Morgan Dorfman
Novice
Carvers who have carved less than 3 years or have won 2 first place ribbons or Best of Class in this show previously. Cast feet will be allowed. Entries carved in a class are acceptable.
2009 Best of Novice - Chris Nicolaou
Intermediate
Carvers who have carved more than 3 years or have won 3 first place ribbons in Novice in this show. Cast feet will be allowed. Other materials may be used for habitat, bases, or structural purposes but must be hand formed. The use of real rocks, uncarved driftwood, etc. (for habitat or bases) is discouraged. Entries carved in a class are acceptable.
2009 Best of Intermediate - Roy Hanson
Open
Any carvers may participate. This class is intended for advanced carvers who have won 3 first place ribbons or Best of Class in Intermediate in this show previously. Cast feet, real rock, uncarved driftwood etc. will NOT b accepted. Entries carved in a class or from a kit or machine duplicated will NOT be accepted.
