Peterborough & District Woodcarvers
Who We Are
Peterborough & District Woodcarvers was formed in 1988 and one of our founding members, Bud Jackson will be the first to greet you at the door and he continues to be an active member and mentor to many new carvers.
When Do We Get Together:
Our club is open for carving every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to Noon.
Where We Meet
Our club is located at the Activity Haven at 180 Barnardo Ave., Peterborough, lower level. We have two rooms dedicated to our club, one for larger machines (band saws, table saws, planer, etc) and a larger room for carving, socializing and storage of paint, patterns, library etc. Our club is obviously fully equipped and the coffee pot is always on.
Currently we enjoy approximately 40 supportive, knowledgable, entertaining and creative members and are always looking for more to join this great club. Membership costs are $110 per year, plus one dollar user fee per week which covers room rental, insurance, supplies and well maintained equipment. We do offer a one month free trial membership.
