The Kawartha Carving Competition has secured sponsorship for two purchase awards for the 2025 show. The Purchase Award Competition encourages carvers to go head-to-head on a category and subject specified by a sponsor. Ribbons and cash prizes are awarded to the top three carvers. The winning carving is presented to the Award Sponsor.
1. Full Size Hunting Decoy
Any Duck or Confidence decoy (grebes, gulls, cormorants, etc.).
No detailed feathering. Will not be floated but must have a keel.
Prizes: 1st Place – $500 2nd Place – $100 3rd Place – $50

2. Female Golfer Caricature
Any caricature of a female golfer, no larger than 12″x12″x12″. Must include suitable habitat.
