About

The Kawartha Carving Competition and Exhibition is an annual event that draws carvers and spectators from the Kawartha Lakes Tourist area and other Ontario regions. The 2022 show will be the first opportunity for many carvers to show their work and share their experiences from the last two years.

The competition features judged awards in all skill and experience classes and multiple subject categories. The exhibition also includes opportunity to buy and sell carvings, carving supplies, books, wood and tools. Visitors also enjoy hourly door prizes, demonstrations, a silent auction and award ceremony.

The Kawartha Carving Competition and Exhibition is a presentation of the Bobcaygeon Curling Club, Caygeon Carvers and Buckhorn Carving Club. A volunteer committee plans and operates the event with the help of community volunteers and the generous support of our sponsors.
