The Kawartha Carving Competition has changed one of its key entry requirements for 2024.
In past competitions, entries had to be carved within one year, then recently two. This year any carving that has not been previously entered in this competition, no matter what year it was carved, may be entered.
Broadening entry eligibility is expected to encourage more carvers to participate and show more of their work, providing a richer showcase for our public viewers. We hope to see lots of excellent work this year that got lost behind the old time barrier. We also hope to see lots of our old friends return, to show some of their “Best of” collections.
So pull out some of your favourites! Get inspired! Get carving!
